After Guava, who wanted to commit suicide, was rescued by physics teacher Tang Shi, the two became involved. Tang Shi was deeply troubled by the death of "little pomegranate" twenty-five years ago, and was eager to verify his long-standing exploration theory of life on guava. Guava agreed to fulfill their mutual wish in exchange for Tang Shi helping her "exorcise ghosts".
