Bai Qi's ancestor was a Duke of Qin, so he was also called Gongsun Qi. Bai Qi is known as the "Human Slaughter" and one of the four generals of the Warring States Period. The other three are Wang Jian, Lian Po and Li Mu.
The most famous battle in his life was the Battle of Changping.
