In the ninth year of Pingjiang, King Gao Tingyu of Shu sent his eldest son Gao Jian to Beijing as a hostage, in exchange for seven years of peace between Beijing and Shu. In the 16th year of Pingjiang, the crown prince Gao Jian was intercepted and killed on Zihua Mountain before he left the capital. Mr. He Qi of Shuzhou made a plan and invited the Mingxi faction, who were many masters at the time, to disguise themselves and divide them into thirteen groups to escort him back to Shu.
Gao Jian, the prince of Shuzhou, saw with his own eyes the suffering of this world on his way back to Shu when he was twelve years old. Even the unarmed scholar had ambitions to uphold the righteousness of heaven and earth. Under the influence of Shuxi swordsman Lin Zhihan, he was even more determined to shoulder the moral integrity of the small area of Shuzhou. No matter how chaotic the world was, he could not bring chaos to Shuzhou. For ten years, Gao Jian has been chasing the figure of the Shuanxi swordsman, practicing Sanjiu in the winter and Sanfu in the summer. Ten years later, Gao Jian came to the Shuanxi swordsman again, hoping that what he wanted would become mine.
