First person perspective++ short story (diary style)
A tale of two mentally ill people
I tried to escape the world but failed.
"Do you know where this is?"
"Sanitarium". He replied.
"It's a nursing home," I repeated in a very soft voice, and then laughed to myself, "I thought it was a mental hospital!"
"Actually," he paused, and then exposed my delusion, "it means the same thing."
"Actually," he seemed to want to save something, and then explained, "You can call him Anxin Hospital, which sounds better."
"Self-deception," I mocked him mercilessly.
Anxin Hospital is indeed right. By sending a group of us in, of course everyone will feel at ease.
