12-Year-old Dipper and Mabel have ended a summer vacation full of thrills and excitement. The relationship between life and death has made them grow up rapidly. They may realize that they are really about to become mature, and they will have deeper emotions than other ordinary twin siblings.
After being brought back to the city by their parents, they started their junior high school career as expected, and made a promise to their uncles that they would come to the town of Gravity Springs again during the winter vacation.
But of course, everything that happened during the summer vacation when they were 12 years old cannot be erased from their memories.
The existence of the triangular demon Bill Cipher still lingers in their dreams.
