Qin Shu was born in a scholarly family. She was taught by her parents since she was a child to be well-educated, to be a lady, and to find a good husband and raise her children in the future. But when she was eighteen years old, she suddenly suffered a national disaster, and it was a time when her life was at stake. Qin Shu's parents wanted to take their daughter back to their hometown for safety, but they never thought that their daughter would have to fight with the army.
