Empress Xiaoshengxian of the Qing Dynasty, Niu Hulu, was born on January 1, 1693 (November 25, the 31st day of Kangxi reign). She was the daughter of Ling Zhu, a fourth-rank ceremonial officer of the Xianghuang tribe in Manchuria. 1704. When he was thirteen years old, he entered the Yonghe Palace and was named Gege, King Yongzhen. On August 13, 1711 (the fiftieth year of Kangxi), Hongli, the future Emperor Qianlong, was born. In 1723 (February of the first year of Yongzheng), she was registered as Concubine Xi; in 1730 (eighth year of Yongzheng), she was concubine Xi of Jin; in September of 1735 (the thirteenth year of Yongzheng), Hongli ascended the throne and was honored as the Empress Dowager Chongqing. She died on March 2, 1777 (the twenty-third of the first month of the forty-second year of Qianlong) and was buried in Taidong Tomb. Posthumous titles: Xiao Sheng Ci Xuan Kang Huidun and Cheng Hui Renmu Jing Tianguang Shengxian Queen.
