[Short story·Jicheng Farewell Series·3]
A comment on the movie "Carnival" on Douban wrote: "It is easy to sympathize with the case of a young girl's sexual assault, and it is not difficult to tear the perpetrator apart, but what else? Compared with the unforgivable evil, the sin of not knowing one's own fault is a dark cloud hanging over Chinese society, which coincides with the increasingly powerful male sexual harassment."
Adapted from a post I saw two years ago, it really shocked me.
The 17-year-old girl redeemed herself, but the secondary damage from the outside world was even greater, forcing her to move away from home.
Fortunately, her story, whether in reality or fiction, finally has a happy ending.
But she is just the lucky one among thousands of unfortunate stories. Under that huge iceberg of silence, there are more girls whose voices have not been heard, and for them, speaking out is an almost impossible task.
Farewell Notes of Jicheng Series:
Moumai's hometown is Jinan, Shandong. After coming to the imperial capital to study, he missed his hometown more and more, where countless people were deceived by Mr. Lao She's "Winter in Jinan". That tepid city has countless unknown stories, ordinary or great, hidden in the streets and alleys, among the sea of cars and people. This is a series of short stories, all based on real stories, heard from others, or a certain person's own experience, hoping to bring some resonance to you.
