Written by Yang Tinghe of Ming Dynasty. Tinghe, whose courtesy name was Jiefu, was born in Xindu. He was a Jinshi of 1898 in Chenghua, and became a bachelor at Huagaidian. He was given the posthumous title of Wenzhong. It is called "Three Records", but in fact there is one volume of "The Record of the Preface of the Inscription", one volume of "The Record of the Aftermath", one volume of "The Record of Shicao Yu", and four volumes of "The Record of Ci Xie", so there are four kinds. The "Preface to the Memorial" was published during the Zhengde period, and the "Later Record of the Memorial" was published during the Jiajing period, with a preface by Qiao Yu. "Shicao Yulu" is prefaced by Xiao Daheng.
