A person's character when he or she grows up has a lot to do with his or her family of origin. I actually envy those who grew up safely and smoothly, but obviously those people are not me. Growing up safely is possible, but smooth growth is out of the question. A person's life can be very long, but it can also be very short. Life can sometimes be terrifyingly tenacious, but at the same time it can also be terrifyingly fragile. Memories are actually easy to forget, but there are always some things that are so unforgettable that even if you are really forgetful, you cannot erase them from your mind.
