Once upon a time, I read a book and it said: "The growth of a person is to realize that the world does not only belong to you." When we are babies, the whole world is ours, and we can take whatever we want as long as we cry loudly. Later I realized that life is about losing. Even if you have it now, it is temporary. But we are so afraid of losing, so ingrained in the habits of childhood that we learn to compromise while still being tempted to possess and grieve over loss. When we finally understand that the only person in this world that belongs to us is ourselves, we begin to become extremely lonely.
The "Lonely Fairy Tale" series is very sad and obscure, and it only writes stories of loss.
The entire Lonely Fairy Tale series is finally over. This process took me about 8 years. The earliest story was completed when I was in high school, which is The Thorn Flower. If you like "Cartoon King", you will probably find that this story is adapted from the comic of the same name by Mr. Yang Daoliang... I am really embarrassed to use it without asking Mr. Yang, but because this story is really integrated with the entire series, I don't want to delete it. Also adapted from comics is "The Silly Traveler", which was inspired by a story told by Red Leaf in "Fruits Basket". "The Fairy Tale of Loneliness" was inspired by a short story I read in high school. I can't remember the specific plot at all, but there seems to be some similarities in the plot, right? I can't remember clearly, after all, this story was completed eight years later, in 2008. The other stories are all my own. Although there are sources of inspiration, they have little relationship with the original works, so I won't explain them here. This is my personal interpretation of all the stories in the entire "Lonely Fairy Tale" series. Please be respectful and don't accuse me of plagiarism. Thank you.
