A short story. Because I like the image of Hatsumomo created by Gong Li in "Memoirs of a Geisha", I took some time to write this fanfic. It basically continues the timeline of Hatsumomo and her boyfriend from the movie after they were discovered by Sayuri. Because of personal quirks, readers may not be used to it, and it is not a consistent female protagonist's perspective. Of course, there is no plot (a clichéd theme). Just watch it if you want to watch it. If you don't want to watch it, don't force yourself. Anyway, I was quite happy writing it.
Demining
When writing fan fiction, I like the inner struggles of my protagonists. I don't deliberately assign noble identities to them so that they can despise most of the difficulties in the world. Instead, I am more interested in their powerlessness in facing difficulties. There is a texture that attracts me (ps, as a reader, I don't like this, because the plot is not under my control, and I will be scared).

Then it is very short. It may end like this, or it may continue.
It's from the male protagonist's perspective, not suave, and has no boyfriend power. Of course, the simple plot may not make much sense.
But because it is from the male protagonist's perspective, it may show the male protagonist's emotions more.
In short, the author can't guarantee anything, it's just writing blindly.
Concept: A bird in a cage also has a flying soul. Difficulties are never easy to solve, and decisions are never easy. The future may not be bright, but emotions sometimes overpower rationality, making people know that it is impossible, but they still have no hesitation.
