As you know, Huancheng is a city, and like all cities, it exists with the noise of people. Suffocated, polluted, decadent, all signs indicate that it is alive, or that it exists in a city-like state.
I am an ordinary person in Huancheng. My profession is a story writer. I deal with all kinds of people and then write out their stories, whether they are true or false, happy or sad.
Huancheng is the story that first gave me the urge to write a full-length novel.
But the story of Huancheng was very difficult to write. It took 14 years from 2008 to 2021. During this period, I experienced graduation, work, marriage, and childbirth. In fact, from 2008 to 2009, I wrote "The Scavenger", "The Beggar", "Xiao Wu", "Li Li", "The Singer" and half of "The Noble". Later, I started to stop writing indefinitely. I can't think of a better way to weave a story with emotions. The unfinished story that followed became a nightmare that kept haunting me, hitting me from time to time.
Until 2020, I completed the story "Unfortunately I'm Not Your Childhood Sweetheart". I thought maybe I could pick up Huancheng again and try the unfinished stories again. The middle part was also intermittent and difficult, and the overall mood of the story was no longer the same as before, but it was still an explanation for myself.
