But I also feel that Lian's death has locked Nana away... She will never be able to escape from this person's shadow, nor can she forget him. (Even the only parts of the body that were seen intact were his hands and picks) It's hard to tell whether what remained of him at the end was his love for Nana or some kind of obsession he was trying to prove. What Nana has is the shackles of sad memories and the regret of not finishing her words, but there is no relief that allows her to move forward. Death is a good ending for Lian, but it may not be a good ending for Nana, at least not at this point.
