In modern society, Lin Qing, a copywriter and planner, dreams that he is being chased by a monster. After waking up, he escapes into another time and space, where he grows up, learns special powers, adapts to the different space, and uses his abilities to benefit the different space. In the process of searching, his friend, the photographer Chun Xu, also travels into the different space and experiences the difficulties of hunger, war, and displacement.
