Fukuzawa Yukichi is a swordsman. Fuso is a sword spirit. Edogawa Ranpo is a detective. Their encounter began in Yokohama and is still ongoing. They were all lonely people in the past, but maybe it was the thoughtful life together that made them no longer lonely in the end.
The setting is that the president has special powers but only discovered later that "no one can create anything better than anyone else".
I have only read the book and the third season, so there may be plot differences.
