We met when I was a freshman and she was a junior, when her illness was at its most severe. She took a break from school for a few months, and her family also came to school to accompany her for a few months. At first, she met her roommate. Her roommate joked that she would introduce a girlfriend to me, and that's how I met her. But soon I discovered that she was a little different and very sensitive. For example, when she went to the canteen to buy something, the bad attitude of the cashier would make her sad for a long time. Later I learned that she was very helpless at that time. She hated her condition and wanted to get better as soon as possible. However, the more anxious she became, the more her condition worsened and she began to hate herself. All she wanted to do every day was to get dark soon, not want to face the day, not want to face her classmates, and just wanted to stay asleep. I tried every means to make her cheerful, accompanying her to classes, eating with her, walking on the playground with her, and answering her non-problem questions hundreds of times a day. I started taking her to participate in some public activities, infecting her with my thick skin, trying every means to solve her worries one by one, slowly expanding her circle of friends and cultivating her interests and hobbies. Now, having known each other for more than 10 years, she has also recovered from this relatively long-lasting spiritual cold. One more thing, the reason she is no longer my girlfriend is because we got married and she is now my wife.
