There are three key classes for each grade in No. 1 Middle School: two for science and one for liberal arts. Lin Ting, who is in the liberal arts class in his senior year of high school, is a well-known scientific geek, the pet peeve of his Chinese and English teachers, and a thorn in his math teacher's side.
