In Shilou City, a declining third-tier town in the Northeast, six young people who had encountered obstacles in their lives gathered together to maintain the daily operation of a small inn.
In the eyes of outsiders, they live a life of picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence and leisurely seeing the southern mountains. But only they themselves know that they are just losers escaping setbacks.
In the summer of 2021, the appearance of a series of weather phenomena left the inn empty. The six people were finally able to stop their hurried pace, calmly examine their lives and re-recognize themselves, and strive to seek self-salvation.
Purpose: To show the different worries of a group of young people under a slow pace.
