Damian Wayne, Blackbird of Blüdhaven, flees Gotham and his father with endless regret and pain, struggling to forget the long-dead Timothy. He refused to acknowledge the new Robin Jason.
Tim Drake, the second Robin, died in an exploding warehouse trying to save his parents. No one knew that the ghost of the dead would crawl out of the grave one day. A few years later, the Red Hood appeared in Gotham at night, angrily slicing the neck of the new bird.

Tim recalled Damian's emerald eyes, delicate nose, perfect lip shape, and the long-healed ear holes in his earlobes. During his time in the Alliance, Damian must have had exotic earrings hanging from his ears.
In his hollow chest, the dead heart still had time to think wildly, hoping that the gems on it would be as green as a swamp.

The communicator with the red bat on it was like a time bomb in his pocket. Damian knew this conversation wasn't going to be a good one. But when he closed his eyes, he thought about the wind coming from the desert, his grandfather's malicious smile, Batman's lowered head, and Timothy's longing eyes when he was young, and he was about to shed tears. He owed Tim a lot of pain and suffering in his youth, and he deserved to pay him back.
Damian took out his communicator and dialed the only contact on it.
