In the story, there is a strange crow, Severn, who is isolated in the forest school. Not only does other races dislike him, but even birds regard him as a monster because he is so lonely. A crow always appears at the crime scene. Everyone says that he is evil and brings bad luck. It is really strange for a bird to not practice flying and catching insects, but to spend the whole day in the library without exercising. Crow's classmates don't like him because he ruined the little good reputation that Crow had finally built up for being clean and honest, and the rumor that "crows bring bad luck" spread again. Severn may look a little weird, but he is actually very kind, enthusiastic, and smart. You see, as long as there are difficulties, he is more willing and able to help than those who talk too much.
