Early years of the Republic of China

Looking back on the past sixteen years of her life, she was proficient in all kinds of music, chess, calligraphy and painting. She was supposed to spend the rest of her life lovingly with a good match, but life was so unfair to her, and she ended up as a famous prostitute in Jinling who lived in depression for the rest of her life. Her original good match, the eldest son of the Yu family, She Xianglin, had always had a soft spot for her, but he could not withstand the opposition of his family and numerous misunderstandings. Later, she jumped into the Qinhuai River and never returned.
Later, Shui Hibiscus could not help but shed tears like pearls when She Xianglin was mentioned. She wrote on the paper, "The beloved in this life has passed away. Who will the hibiscus flower go to? It is a flying bird in the sky, but it is unreasonable on the ground."
