Jing Wei, a senior student at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, suddenly disappeared. His classmates and his girlfriend called the police but they could never find him. After many twists and turns, the case finally fell into the hands of police officer Ping Tianshu.
After investigation, Tianshu discovered that Jing Wei and Jiang Xiaolei, a former high school female classmate, may have some unexplained relationship. But Jiang Xiaolei committed suicide mysteriously before Jing Wei disappeared. The suicide case remains unsolved to this day.
