Plot summary: Qin Lizhi, an ordinary college student, worked as a TOEFL English tutor at Zhang Canran's home after seeing a job advertisement. Zhang Canran was naughty and unwilling to learn English well and move to the United States. He often teased Qin Lizhi, who decided not to contact her again until she finished taking the TOEFL exam. Zhang Canran passed the exam and went to the United States, but she always missed him. So I come back to see him every year during the holidays. However, Qin Lizhi always liked Wu Xiaoli who went to the same university. Wu Xiaoli is good at singing and dancing, and has won awards in various literary and art competitions. However, her studies often failed, so she finally decided to drop out of school and make a living by singing and dancing. After Wu Xiaoli dropped out of school, Qin Lizhi continued to support her financially. In the blink of an eye, Qin Lizhi graduated from college and started a software company with a few friends. Because of Wu Xiaoli's incident, Qin Lizhi could not work with peace of mind, resulting in poor management of the company. Later, she suddenly discovered that she was dating Kai, the owner of the entertainment club. Qin Lizhi knew Kai's personality and put aside his own feelings to persuade Wu Xiaoli. When Kai found out, he had someone beat her into a coma and hospitalized her. He was discovered by Zhang Canran, who paid all his medical bills and waited for him to wake up at the bedside; but she was overtired and had a car accident on the way back. Her mother brought her back to the United States.
