"The Farmer and the Little Beauty Snake": adapted from "The Farmer and the Snake" and "The Daughter of the Sea". Lisa picked up a small white snake on a cold winter day, mistook it for a "snake corpse", and planned to take it home to make snake soup. After the little white snake woke up with a grateful heart, he found that his "savior" was the snake. In order to repay his kindness, he found the forest witch and was willing to sacrifice his own life to ask for the snake's tail to be turned into human legs. The witch told him that every day he turned into a human being, he would endure the pain of stepping on a sharp knife, lose ten years of his life, and eventually shrink into an empty shell, unless he could get a sincere kiss from the one he loved...
