Beauxbatons' hemp student Hadrian Prang applied for the Hogwarts exchange program. On his birthday, he was told by his parents that they were important members of the former British rebel organization, but he had decided to go to Britain. His father made him three requirements: in addition to keeping it secret and staying alive, he needed to find Peter Pettigrew, who might know Dumbledore's whereabouts. What was unexpected was the Dark Lord's attention to him, and Harry soon realized that he could not leave England so easily.
Setting: Half AU, separate plot. Zhan Li fled to Europe, Dumbledore disappeared, the Death Eaters were victorious, and Voldemort ruled. The social hierarchy is divided (pure-blood-half-blood/cooperative magical creatures-Muggles/traitors/uncooperative magical creatures), and there is a forced adoption system for pure-blood/half-blood-muggles/traitor children. When Harry returned to England as an exchange student, many countries in Eastern Europe had been invaded by the Dark Lord, who was dealing with the magical race of Northern Europe.
