Twenty thousand years ago, the two realms of gods and demons were at war, and the leaders of the two sides had to put aside some of their personal feelings for the sake of their tribesmen and all living creatures. One is the Demon Lord of the Demon Realm (Mo Li), and the other is Ye Shen (Qing Yu), the son of the Emperor of the God Realm.
The day the war started...
The Demon King was almost stabbed by a god with a soul-killing sword, but the sword was blocked by the Night God. Before his death, Ye Shen took part of the Demon Lord's divine power and turned it into a ring as a token.
After the death of the Night God, the night disappeared. The three realms looked forward to the return of the Night God, the coolness of the night and the quiet rest.
Twenty thousand years later, the demons invaded the human race...
