Old copy: After living for more than ten years, I discovered that I had traveled through time and space to a character who was even more cannon fodder than cannon fodder. Please let me quietly be a passerby. I don't want to fight with the protagonist, and I don't want to be cannon fodder! Etc? Is this actually a hidden protagonist line?
