Probably the background story of each character in Water Margin.
There are some modifications to the original work.
(Logically speaking) One hundred and eight stars are one hundred and eight wronged souls. Because they had been wandering in the world for too long, Empress Xuannv sealed them away. Thousands of years later, they will be reincarnated as one hundred and eight generals. After they were reincarnated, they lost all the memories of their previous lives. After their death, their memories were restored. They could be reincarnated and become normal people again, or they could work beside Xuannv.
But something unexpected happened - the prodigal Yan Qing.
The prodigal son Yan Qing was a swallow who became a spirit through cultivation, but when Empress Xuannu sealed the one hundred and seven wronged souls, she accidentally sealed him in. Yan Qing had a younger sister. Empress Xuannu raised the swallow out of guilt and called her Wan'er. (Wang Lun is another pet of Empress Xuannu, who calls him Bai Zi)
After the 108 generals were reincarnated, Xuannv asked Wang Lun and Wan'er to come down to earth and reincarnate. The task given to Wang Lun was to initially establish Liangshan, and the task given to Wan'er was to rescue the dangerous 108 generals.
After Wan'er was reincarnated, she was named Yan Qiu Wan. There was a golden star pattern on the palm of her left hand, which would glow when she encountered one hundred and eight dangerous generals. If there is a mission for her before the One Hundred and Eight Generals get together again, Empress Xuannv will entrust her with a dream to prepare her mentally.
Wang Lun and Yan Qiuwan retain their memories of past lives.
That's probably all I can think about now. Let's continue talking later.
Intention: It's nothing, I just like Water Margin very much. But the original book was written very sloppily. Want to give them a better ending.
