I don't agree with Maria's argument about the inherent goodness of human nature in "War and Peace". People all have the desire to destroy everything that is above them—the earth and dust that I see in this world have become impetuous, and the laughter and noise that I hear in this world has become greedy. The current passing through the nerves confuses people's judgment, and the sound passing through the water vortex confuses people's choices.
We stand on the roulette wheel, the needle is spinning, and time is rushing like running water. There are still fifty or sixty years left in this life, and it will only ever be so far away. And I have not yet told you my thousands of words.
