This is an imaginary story about the Chinese magic world and magic academy.
When Yan Yun was twelve years old, she received an admission notice sent by a carrier pigeon. The letter informed her that she was a warlock and would study at the China Academy of Magic.
So...
"Disciple Yan Yun, please don't recite the mantra in Cantonese. How many times have I said you can't recite the mantra in dialect? Why don't you listen?"
"Disciple Yan Yun, please don't use the cauldron to make chicken soup in the alchemy class, nor can you make hot pot, don't even think about it!"
"Disciple Yan Yun, please stop hunting magical creatures from the Forest of All Things for midnight snacks. If you continue like this, the manta rays will be eaten by you until they are on the verge of extinction!"
"Disciple Yan Yun, sword control is a profound and practical course. It is not just for you to dry your bacon. Come down!"
"Disciple Yan Yun, someone from the college next door is looking for you. You seemed to have made the pigeons he raised into roasted squab yesterday..."
Yan Yun felt that she was so tired and wanted to go home. Why didn't anyone tell her that arithmetic and divination, which was compulsory for the entire China Magic Academy, included trigonometry and calculus? Why didn't anyone tell her that there was a sand sculpture about saving the magic world and fighting villains.
