The Taishan wolves are highly intelligent animals that live in the Taishan Mountains. They have lived adjacent to the Dawenkou people since five thousand years ago. For thousands of years, wolves and humans have feared and tolerated each other. Thousands of bizarre histories of bloodshed and mutual aid have been written between humans and wolves. Compared with the prairie wolf, the Taishan wolf, which lives in a rich cultural atmosphere, is more spiritual and cautious in dealing with others: for example, it never steps half a step on the main mountain climbing road from Tiantianmen to Nantianmen, because it is the "holy road" that people climb the mountain to worship virtue and pray for blessings. The wolves are not eligible to enter.
Taishan Wolf witnessed Emperor Shun's "Chaiwang" in Mount Tai, Confucius giving lectures at Xingtan, and Qin Shihuang coming to Mount Tai to enshrine Zen. Taishan Wolf also tasted the eagle-headed sword of the poet Li Bai, and witnessed the prodigal Yan Qingdai's temple fight.
After five thousand years of being adjacent to the people of Tai'an, the poor Taishan wolf was finally squeezed out of its homeland by people, ending the history of the wolf clan. This is a tragedy.
Purpose: The neighborly struggle between humans and wolves has promoted the transformation of Dawenkou people from a "matriarchal society" to a "patriarchal society" and helped shape the responsible and tolerant character of the Taishan people. Sadly, people's overexploitation of nature in the last century, especially the large-scale development of the Taishan Mountains, has crowded out the home of Taishan wolves and destroyed the balance of nature.
