Designer Xia Chu fled back to the wheat field with a broken wedding ring, but during the grain-filling period he reunited with his ex-girlfriend Xiaotang, who had disappeared for two years. The lighthouse in the intertidal zone became a temporary scaffolding for them to repair their love and ideals. They used wheat straw to weave architectural models under the moonlight, and used rice seeds to fill concrete cracks in heavy rains. When city height restrictions cut off the spiral dome of the Star Observation Tower, 700 salt-resistant rice plants were pointing at the starry sky at a 37-degree angle on the mudflat after the tide ebbs. This is a farming experiment about waiting - two years to wait for a season of rice to mature, half a lifetime to wait for a high tide, until the wheat fields grow roots of steel bars, and the architectural drawings are soaked with the saltiness of rainwater.
Concept: When the low tide lighthouse reveals the deeply buried wedding ring, the farmer designer discovered in the early summer between the waves of wheat and the tearing of steel bars that the old drawings pickled by sea salt will eventually grow into new species in the monsoon that connect the fields and the starry sky.
