Gu Mu and Mingwei met in high school. After a year of hardships, they fell in love with each other. Gu Mu and Mingwei lived a sweet life for several months. Later, the two people who were originally in love separated due to rumors and the upcoming college entrance examination. They were admitted to different universities. When they met again after graduation, Gu Mu got married, while Mingwei suffered from depression and finally died. In order to commemorate their relationship, Gu Mu named his son Gu Chang (past) after his mother's surname.
