Referring to the Classic of Mountains and Seas and some ancient books, it is partially different from the myth. The main subjects are the nine-tailed fox and the nine-year-old baby (although I know that these two species are somewhat unrelated, but I searched for a long time and felt that these two are the only ones suitable for a pair).
Ancient Chinese descriptions of the nine-tailed fox are typical of the character Su Daji. In the prosperous times, she was adorned with beauties, but in troubled times, she became a scourge. In my work, there is a reason why Su Daji helped the emperor to do evil (ok, I admit that I was helping her whitewash). Then I created a sad character like the nine-tailed fox. I think that instead of treating her as a sinner through the ages, such a sad image is more suitable for her.
