I first heard about Yan Luo from my father. I remember saying, "Although they are young, General Yan's two sons share the same food, clothing and labor as ordinary soldiers." Later, when I got older, I would occasionally hear mention of Yan Erlang from people I knew well.
However, I have never seen him.
