Qin Yi went on a mission to rescue a child thirteen years ago.
At that time, he was lying on the rotten railing of the rooftop of a high-rise building, holding on to the hand of the falling child. There was still blood on his face, but his eyes were filled with tenacity. He lowered his voice and comforted the hanging child at his feet: "Don't be afraid, kid, the police officer will help you up, hold on tight."
The child had no desire to live, but he nodded his head in a strange way. Qin Yi smiled and tried his best to bring the child back to the world.
How wonderful that Qin Yi exchanged a broken wooden bead bracelet for a son who would support him until he grew old.
What's more, the broken string of beads was carefully strung by Jiang Zhou under a small orange light on a night when all the lights were out, and returned to Qin Yi's wrist.
Sixteen-year-old Jiang Zhou proposed to study abroad.
Officer Qin, who never liked typing, immersed himself in familiarizing himself with the keys on the way to the mission and typed:
"Five years from now, I'll be waiting for you in the direction where the sun rises."
When they met again, Jiang Zhou had become Qin Yi's "boss". He was tall and slender, wearing a black suit and gold-rimmed glasses, and was mature and shrewd.
"You're fine, Superintendent Qin."
Qin Yi also smiled.
"Congratulations, Officer Jiang."
