The protagonist of this article is a post-90s science and engineering man who is nearly 30 years old and about to graduate from graduate school but knows nothing about his future prospects. He is simple and kind at heart, and has an introverted and sensitive personality. The article recalls his life experience, school experience, emotional changes, cognitive transformation and social relationships in the past 30 years from his perspective, showing his life process from ignorance, recognition, transformation, struggle to confusion. The article hopes that by showing the emotional needs, psychological changes, family relationships and life confusion of the protagonist in different stages of life in detail, society and families can pay more attention to and understand the current ideal pursuit and behavioral patterns of young people, pay attention to students' mental health issues, and reflect on the shortcomings of the current education and family environment.
Purpose: This article aims to show the impact of family environment, educational environment, social environment characteristics and external environmental factors in contemporary small cities in China on the generation of young people born in the 1990s. The article focuses on the long-term interaction between the protagonist's nature and various environmental factors, which has a profound impact on the protagonist's mental health, social cognition, emotional direction and life choices.
