On the road to the underworld, the souls who do not want to be reincarnated will eventually perish. They carry lanterns as scribes, write down their stories, compile them into scripts, and set up a platform in front of the River of Forgetfulness to earn some spiritual knowledge and patch up those souls who do not want to be reincarnated, hoping that they will have enough time to wait for someone who will never forget them.
