The first time Gong and Shou met was in a special cafe where they ordered the same mint tea. The second time they met was at the opening ceremony of their university. They were inseparable, and later Gong confessed to Shou that he had rejected Gong because Shou did not treat Gong's feelings as non-friends. However, a boy who liked Shou made this known to the whole school. Under the pressure of public opinion, Gong was invited to the office by the principal.
