Taoist Master Shenting Menchi of Xingyun Mountain has two disciples, the eldest disciple Yan Lingxi (the first male) and the younger disciple Jiang Qizhen (the second male). Jiang was actually the only son of the Prime Minister of Southern Shu. The country was destroyed due to the conquest of Daliang. Jiang Qizhen went down the mountain and found that his family had been destroyed. He went down alone to seek revenge on Xu Changquan, the Daliang general who killed his family. Yan Lingxi could not go down the mountain with him because of the clan affairs. Decades later, Taoist Chi emerged and opened the Heavenly Gate. Yan Lingxi had achieved great success in practicing Taoism and had reached the highest level. He carried his sword and went down the mountain to find his former junior brother, and they wanted to take revenge and practice Taoism together.
