Sometimes Rose wonders what would have happened if the world had not been plunged into this war. She might study hard every day, deal with endless papers and memorize endless books; perhaps she would keep playing Quidditch and win the MVP in the last game of seventh grade; perhaps she would still quarrel with Slytherin when she was bored; perhaps she would graduate with all O's in N. E. Wts, enter the Wizengamot and become a lawyer, and most likely change careers halfway to become an Auror... There were so many different possibilities for her future, but they no longer exist.
