Jiang Xiaoyang was born in Beijing. His father's name is Jiang Taihui, which is only one character different from his ancestor Jiang Taigong. His hobbies are the same as Jiang Taigong's, including fishing.
Jiang Xiaoyang likes to listen to his father talk about the things he played in his hometown in Northeast China when he was a child: making snowmen, rolling snowballs, catching grasshoppers, cicadas, picking mushrooms, and catching chili peppers.
