Nowadays, people read more cool articles, so there are fewer readers. I recommend you to read some tragic novels, and make small changes to make readers feel sad and scared (this is too difficult).
Maybe if you stick with it until all students are on vacation (winter and summer vacation), you will get more readers. Or maybe after you update more chapters, more readers who like the subject matter of your article will appear. After all, it is a bit niche (personal feeling)
