On the day when the first JOJO was finalized, I saw Director Araki and Dior whispering. Out of curiosity, I asked Director Araki what exactly he said to Dior. Director Araki told me that he hoped that Dio would start exercising, and it would be best to increase his muscle mass to be similar to that of Jonathan, otherwise he would not be able to support the costumes in the third film. I thought about Dior's crotchless Shiku water costume in the third film, and I felt deep admiration for Professor Dio Brando's dedication.
