Beside the Changhu Lake in Jingzhou, Hubei Province, there is a village called Taokouwan. A foreigner named Peng Laoyao took his wife and children out of the war in the 1940s. He gave birth to nine children in his life, but only four daughters survived.
They are as simple and tenacious as the peach blossom tree behind the house. After experiencing the baptism and devastation of rain, snow, wind and frost, they live out the true colors of life, reveal the true nature of human nature, and compose a tragic song about the survival and struggle of little people in the world of mortals.
Intention: They are relentless, just to live a better life.
