Historically oriented, slightly personal setting, it tells the story of the sand sculptures of Murong Chong, the "Feng Zhi Afang" during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and the King of Qin Fu Jian, as well as their legendary life. The writing style is sometimes crude and sometimes rigorous. It contains sand sculpture palace fights and battles of wits and courage between emperors and courtiers.
