When farming is busy in late autumn, the bow-legged child still misses that pot of wine made from sorghum.
Every year at the Murakami Sake Festival, wine made from sorghum is distributed, and whoever drinks the most will have the largest pot of sorghum wine. Fang Hunchback also went to wine festivals, but every time he always drank till the end with his bow legs.
The young people all carried heavy wine bottles and wore white robes, as if they were on a pilgrimage. Their faces were glowing red, and their singing voices could be heard ten miles away:
"Red sorghum—let's make wine!"
"Ha!"
"The rolling river - working people."
