Lin Siyi, a Chinese language student who just entered college, was influenced by her roommate to join the department debate team. After a series of competitions, she joined the school team, during which she fell in love with Zhao Zhuofan. After the two entered the school team together, they got to know each other. During the city competition, provincial competition, and national competition, they ran into each other, improved together, and became lovers. The members of the debate team grew together and achieved good results in the final event.
