Aku knew that this was his destiny from the first time he saw Liao Dongcheng and followed him throughout his life. The Buddha came and advised this stubborn world to let go. Aku prayed to the great and merciful Buddha to turn it into a stone bridge that could withstand five hundred years of wind, five hundred years of sunshine, and five hundred years of rain. He just wanted him to pass by on the bridge. The Buddha seemed to remember an old friend, and finally nodded his promise. But, what about five hundred years from now?
